I dont think anybody can restrict someone whos might be really interested in doing something. This is our Indian education system, we are not allowed to do something we are interested in doing something. But forced to do which we do not like at all. Come on people wake up, its high time to restrict something. Do our professionals know something about multitasking? Librarian has to be one, moreover it is his part of professional requirement. Wake up people wake up from slumber!! First of all there is hell of misunderstanding about the librarians in India, moreover if he is restricted to enhance his knowledge then this profession will be drowned. This today's concept of librarian is framed because of old professionals who hardly did work towards progress and so mainly the professionals are not at all PROACTIVE. Please change yourself and fit in today's world. Darwins theory holds good for all times.. "Survival of the Fittest", keep yourself fit to compete with other professions.
