Dear Professionals,
I am in the process of collecting information on Digitisation activities
and Digital Library Initiatives in India. The objects digitised could be
documents(books, journals, reports, patents, standards, manuscripts in any
form like paper, palm leaves, metal sheets, etc), audio, video, graphics,
paintings, models, photos, etc. I have got some details about few
activities and still I may not be aware of many. If your organisation
has some activity, please send me the details immediately (not more than
a page). If not and if you know any institution carrying out this
activity, please reply even if it is 3-4 lines or at least inform me the
details (contact person and address, telephone, e-mail address, etc).
THIS INFORMATION IS REQUIRED VERY URGENTLY.
I will post the consolidated summary later through LIS-Forum. Thanks in
advance.
