TCS is happy to announce an Internship programme for Library & Information Science MLIS (or equivalent) students (full-time/regular) in its Information Resource Centres (IRC) across India. This programme can be availed as part of curriculum either in the summer break or during the course period. It will last for a period of 2-3 months and will include a stipend. The interns will have the opportunity of practical learning of tools and techniques of information service during their tenure. Internships are open at the TCS branches given below. Aspirants are required to have minimum 60% marks in all examinations taken, from 10th Standard onwards, to be eligible. A limited number of candidates will be selected through a test and interview. Applications and CVs of candidates must be forwarded by Institutions in the form of nominations or recommendations at least 2 months prior to the commencement of internship.
