ABSTRACT
We are living in an era, which is referred to as the knowledge era. IT has
played and continues to play a major role in shaping the form and format
of a wide range of activities related to business, scholarly
communication, governance etc. Due to the changes in Hardware, Software,
Storage technologies, Telecommunication technology, the resources and
services of libraries have also changed and are expanding. The outstanding
advances in IT and e-media related fields have made it necessary to change
the traditional image and to adapt to the challenges posed by these new
technologies. In this colloquium we will focus on �INFORMATION RESOURCES
AND SERVICES IN THE CYBER AGE.�
