Dear Sir/Madam,

We have CD/DVDs in our Library collection and we want to make them accessible to our members(Engineers) from their desktop. Idea behind this was 1) To facilitate our members in referring these CDs/DVDs from their desk/work place , as they are working/located in different locations of Bosch (within Bangalore city & outside) and it is very difficult for them to visit to the library for referring these.2) CD/DVDs issued out are getting corrupted/spoilt in a short time.

 While planning this we foresee the following challenges, kindly let me know whether any one of you worked on this in your organization and successfully implemented , if yes kindly share your experience/learning.

1) User access/restriction: The CD/DVD we have are single user versions and we want to restrict the access to single user only ,but when we copy content on the server we lack control on number of users using them. How to over come this? are there any freeware available for this purpose.

2) Copying the content : There are some CD/DVDs which are partially copied on server folder. Are there any software available that solves the copying/mirroring problem. Hardware is available to support this service (other then CD Rom Server)  ?
  
3) Copyright issues: 1) what all the things to be taken into consideration while implementing this. Discuss aspects which helps us in carrying out this work by being in compliance with copyright regulations(Indian copyright act context).
