Advanced
Centre for Treatment, Research & Education in Cancer (ACTREC)
is the Basic, Translational and Clinical Research unit of the premier cancer
research organization of the country – Tata Memorial Centre. It is
located in 60 acres land in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai.
The fully automated
library has state-of-the-art facilities to cater to the needs of scientific,
clinical and paramedical staff by ensuring the reach of scientific information
on their desktop. The library serves as a nucleus of information in every
branch of research in the field of cancer.
Library of the
advanced centre is looking for Trainees for a period of 6 months and extendable
up to one year based on the projects. Selected candidates will be paid a
stipend of Rs. 6000/- per month with accommodation facilities in the
premises. The absorbed candidate will have an exposure to all modern
techniques of maintaining a good scientific and medical library with hands on
experience
