Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC), situated in 60 acre land at Kharghar,
Navi Mumbai is a new state of the art R & D satellite of the Tata Memorial
Centre (TMC).<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>The Institute
comprises of basic research wing and clinical research centre.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>It also has a 50- bed hospital fully
equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic facilities.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>ACTREC has the mandate to function as a
national centre for treatment, research and education in
cancer.<o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN></P>

automated and all its functions & services are operated on LibSuite (ASP
version) software.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>It houses over
15000 books and back volumes of journals and has access to over 2000 journals
through ScienceDirect and other online databases round the clock.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Thesis, Institutional Reports, Staff
Publications, CD ROMs, Video Cassettes are the other resources available to all
Scientific Community.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>The library
has plans to digitize its Thesis collection and introduce enhanced electronic
information services in the coming years.<o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN></P>
