Applications are invited for  purely temporary  post of Project Linked
Personnel (1)  for a major project on “Information Systems for Knowledge
Representation undertaken by Documentation Research and Training Centre
under the Project Principal Investigator  Dr. M Krishnamurthy, for a period
of  one  year from 2023-2024 funded by the Indian Statistical Institute.
(Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation, GOI)



Qualification & Experience:



Candidate must have first Class  Masters degree in Computer Science/ B E ,
       B tech in  Information Technology and  Masters in Library &
Information Science (M.L.IS.c) or equivalent degree from a recognized
university with consistent good academic record.  A good knowledge in the
field of ontology and semantic web  application to Library and Information
is required . Expertise in writing annotation and abstracts will be added
advantage. Good Written and oral communication skills. He / she will be
required to help collect and organize information sources relevant to the
project so as to develop and manage a  ontology techniques which will
become a digital repository catering to the needs of scholars, researchers
and advanced students. This would require knowledge of relevant and quality
resources, search tools, and expertise in searching, selecting evaluating
and creating entries for each resource like  Knowledge Engineering
Approach, Knowledge Base, Knowledge Representation,    Ontology ,  Ontologies
in Information Systems.



*Duration of Appointment*: One year  ( Feb,1, 2023 to March 31, 2024)

*Pay* :Consolidated Monthly Pay: 24,000.00 Per Month (Consolidated)

*Age *: Should not exceed  35 years as on  January2023, with usual
relaxation for SC/ST/ and Physically challenged  candidates.
