 Dear Dr.Sunil,
It is a terrible and a very painful news to me when I heard of Prof. Nagappa's sad demise. I was one of the admirers and always cherished his teaching and writing. One of the most humble and yet versatile thinker and I have maintained very high respect for his knowledge and scholarship, yet he never exhibited it. I had many opportunities to interact with him and I have had a very enjoyable discussion. He wrote a wonderful article in Kannada on bibliographic control which I still posses and one can imagine the value his writing. I had an opportunity to visit his house long ago and I still remember his warm hospitality and treatment with dignity. I cannot sustain his loss for years to come.
Pray Almighty to lay his soul rest in peace.

Dear Sir/Madam, 

I wish to inform that, Dr. B. Subhash Reddy, Librarian, PES University, Bengaluru has been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in Library and Information Science by AMET University, Kanathur, Tamil Nadu, on their successful Ph.D Viva-Voice Examination (Virtual) held on 29th March 2021 and the same was adjudicated by the Examiners. 

He has worked under the able guidance of Dr. M. Krishnamurthy, Professor, DRTC (ISI), Bangalore. His research topic was Pattern of Information Use by the Postgraduate Students in the Libraries of Engineering Colleges in Bangalore region affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi.

Hearty congratulations to Dr. B. Subhash Reddy and Dr. M. Krishnamurthy (Guide) for having reached this milestone/achievement.
