When you attend an event physically / in person..
Be it a scholarly event or a socio-cultural event, the levels of *active*
participation, verbal interactions with fellow participants , information
exchange and knowledge sharing.. Happens at different levels altogether..
This *cannot* be possible from the space of your home or office, you being
solo.. And isolated..
Just you, your equipment, the network and everything that is possible
online!

Agree.. In a situation like this (lockdown and compulsory social
distancing) we don't have a better option. But, why not keep the number of
such webinars limited ONLY to what is actually required.?
