[LIS-Forum] 2nd LIS Academy Conference - Call for Papers

Dear Professionals,

I am happy to inform you all that, LIS Academy is pleased to announce call
for research papers, case studies, technology reviews etc, for its
forthcoming 2nd LIS Academy Conference on Innovations in Libraries
scheduled from 7th to 9th March 2019 at Visvesvaraya Technological
University, Belagavi, Karnataka State.

Conference attractions:

1. More than 20 National Eminent LIS professionals are invited to present
their Theme Papers and interact with the younger generation Librarian
participants.

2. Eminent International Expert professionals from Malaysia, Sri Lanka,
Bangladesh are also invited to present their Plenary talks during the
Conference

3. The first day of the eve is designated as E-Resource Conclave and will
explore discussions on the pros and cons of the consortium initiatives. All
the publishers partnered with VTU Consortium will brought together to
answer the queries of the stake holders.

1.   Joint  Organizers – LIS Academy, VTU, Belagavi and Dept. of Public
Libraries, Bangaluru, Government of Karnataka.

2.    Theme of the Conference – “Innovations in Libraries” which is need of
the time to adopt and involve in your professional life to be leading
professional. You can learn several new ideas, tools and techniques.

3.    Venue of the Conference -  Belagavi (Karnataka) is the place where
you can find the places like tallest Indian Flag in the country, Lakeview,
Fort, Vivekananda Ashrma, Gandhi Visited Place, many more

4.    Registration - Any Library professionals, working in academic,
special and public libraries, librarians, trainees, teaching faculties,
students    can register as delegates, paper presenter etc.

5.    Registration Fees – Rs. 2500.00 Working Professionals and Rs. 2000.00
for LIS Students.
