It is a good news shared by Raghavendra R . "Government schools in UP to
have library by March 2020"
https://www.hindustantimes.com/education/all-government-schools-in-up-to-have-library-by-march-2020/story-pIpsrN2Unar9sRTK3pUEVN.html?fbclid=IwAR3FPBA03kz10nsDfh9r_HkgH6CoKaYsGrm9Vu_esQRrwIMN4yc0-CyGpWo

But the real issue we need to address. The issue is *Appointment of
qualified Librarian in the school libraries.* Many government schools have
libraries but authorities, they are not willing to appoint *qualified
librarian*. We are doing professionals schools of Library science but there
is no changes found in school libraries in India. We have to convince the
authorities that *Librarian is essential like teacher.*
