*Sriram Venkatakrishnan, *a leading Historian especially in the field of
Music, is an Indian entrepreneur, columnist, and heritage activist. Sriram
is presently the Editor of Madras Musings. He serves as Secretary at the
Music Academy, Chennai



*Professor S Parthasarathy *is a Founder-Trustee of the Ranganathan Centre
for Information Studies. A close associate of Dr. S.R. Ranganathan, Prof.
Parthasarathy had his professional education in the Universities of Madras
and Chicago. He has held several important positions including as Head of
INSDOC (CSIR). He has served as a UN / UNIDO Consultant and has been on
mission to several countries in Africa and elsewhere. He has also served as
a member of several committees of the Indian Standards Institution (now,
Bureau of Indian Standards), UGC and other bodies. He was one of the
principal architects of NISSAT.
