                     Topic:-Data Warehousing: A Glimpse

Data Warehousing can be construed as a process for assembling and managing
data from numerous sources with the prime objective of obtaining a unary
yet comprehensive perspective of part or the whole of a business, thus,
facilitating strategic decision making.

The seminar intends to introduce the concept of a Data Warehouse, and, its
working architecture. It will deliberate on several associated concepts
and processes in Data Warehousing, along with tool(s) to facilitate it. It
will also focus on some prime instances of Data Warehousing practiced in
corporate houses and libraries. Finally, it will elaborate the merits,
de-merits, applications and research trends in Data Warehousing.
