[LIS-Forum] Librarians' Day Function

Dear Friends:
The Sarada Ranganathan Endowment for Library Science and the PES University Central Library in association with Karnataka State Library Association (KALA), and the Ranganathan Centre for Information Studies are  organizing ‘Librarians’ Day’ (126th Birth Anniversary of Dr. S R Ranganathan) on Thursday, August 09, 2018 at the PES University. The function will be held from 4.30 to 6.00 PM at the MCA Seminar Hall, Prof. MRD Block, PES University, 100 feet Ring Road, BSK 3rd Stage Bengaluru- 560085.
Prof. P Balaram, Former Director, Indian Institute of Science Bengaluru will be the chief guest and will inaugurate a new series of books being published by the Endowment – S. R. Ranganathan Classics – and release the first volume in the series.
Prof. Doreswamy Naidu, Chancellor of PES University, Prof. K.N. Balasubramanya Murthy, Vice Chancellor of PES University, Prof. D. Jawahar, CEO of PES Group of institutions and other dignitaries will participate in the function.
All are cordially invited to attend the function and for Tea thereafter.
