*INVITATION for Paper Submission - ETTLIS2018*



Dear Colleagues!

For almost a decade ETTLIS has served as an important platform for library
professionals, researchers and other library stakeholders to showcase their
research, innovations and products. We are very happy to announce that we
will be back with you for another presentation of the symposium. The
much-awaited International Symposium on Emerging Trends and Technologies in
Libraries and Information Services (ETTLIS -2018) will be held at *Bennett
University, Greater Noida*, UP during *February 21-23, 2018*.

Between the first ETTLIS symposium in 2008 and its latest presentation in
2015, almost 800 delegates from different parts of the world have graced it
with their presentations on emerging trends and technologies in libraries
and information services. Accepting the credit for the enormous success we
achieved in our previous four presentations of the symposium and to keep
the promise of igniting the flame of research amongst the library
fraternity, and even more importantly to fulfill the promise of being the
only conference to highlight emerging trends in information science, we
come to you with renewed vigor and enthusiasm to request your participation
in the ETTLIS-2018.

The recurring main theme of ETTLIS is ‘Emerging Trends and Technologies in
Libraries and Information Services’, the cornerstone on which the entire
symposium has been built. ‘Emerging trends’ is an inevitable topic of
discussion amongst library professionals because of the unprecedented
developments which continue to rock the world of ICT and the innumerable
developments which take place in rapid succession in the field of internet
and telecommunication technologies. Emerging trends in libraries are always
changing the face of libraries and library professionals and, if they are
to be made more relevant, this theme has to be revisited in every ETTLIS
symposium. The speed and enormity of these trends in libraries, the
expectations of users (especially after the ICT boom), and the challenges
for library professionals to cope with these expectations, along with the
emergence of newer technologies for information dissemination and service
delivery, have made this theme of great interest over the years.

It’s our pleasure to invite you to be a part of ETTLIS2018 and showcase
your academic endeavor by submitting your scholarly work.
