[LIS-Forum] Sad Demise of Mr. Sankaraiah

I was deeply saddened by the news of the passing away Of Mr. Sankaraiah,
formerly Regional Librarian British Council Library at Chennai. From what I
remember, he was a very humble, dedicated librarian who welcomed readers
with open arms and a willingness to provide needed library or reference
service, however small or big the need was. I was invited to his house in
Chennai and enjoyed his gracious hospitality.

He was a model worthy of emulation by younger librarians. I convey my
heartfelt condolences to his family and relatives.
