About the Presentation:
===================

The venerable state of speech is mainly due to its acoustics which was
discovered in early 1950's. It consists of production, transmission
and hearing. Each and every stage involves unavoidable acoustic
distortions due to age, gender and other environmental factors. In
spite of having these deviations, the linguistic information from
speech is easily understood by the listener as and when the
communication occurs. This gets materialized, when external linguistic
factors change, the internal acoustic models also get changed. The
basic speech structures are invariant even though it has these
variations. There comes the main reason of evolving speech processing
and identifying the knowledge from it. Now days, the technologies are
improving to process these speech or acoustics in different forms to
extract information and to solve the real world problems. At this
juncture, processing of general sound is analyzed along with human
voices. Major attempts were done in the speech recognition, language
identification, and speaker identification in both supervised as well
as unsupervised way
