Congratulations to Dr. Jagtar Singh Professor, DLIS, Punjabi
University,Patiala for festschrift entitled “Transformation of LIS
Education, Libraries and Information Services for Knowledge Society
(Essays in honour of Prof. Jagtar Singh)” (two volumes set) in his
honour is released by Dr. Muhammad Ramzan (President, Pakistan Library
Association and Director, Library, Lahore University of Management
Sciences, Lahor, Pakistan) and Dr. Ashu Shokeen (President, ILA  &
Professor, DLIS, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshtra)  on 20 November
2015 at the Inaugural Ceremony of XXXI  conference of Indian
Association of Teachers of Library and Information Science (IATLIS) on
“Hundred years of LIS Education and Library Services in South Asia:
Perceptions and Directions” organized at Panjab University,
Chandigarh. The festschrift volumes are edited by Dr. I.V. Malhan, Dr.
Trishanjit Kaur and Dr. Navkiran Kaur, and published by ess ess
publication, New Delhi.

Heartily congratulations to Prof. Jagtar Singh and the editors of the
Festschrift.
