Library Trainee need in JK Lakshmipat University Jaipur

JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU) was established in Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan, in the year 2011 to give students the cutting-edge of holistic learning and to develop promising youngsters into leaders of tomorrow with globally relevant, future-ready and actionable intelligence.

 

Learning Resource Centre (LRC) is heart of the University and acts as a centre for the collection of literature predominantly related to Management, Engineering, Sciences and develops a comprehensive collection of information that is useful for teaching, research and reference purposes. LRC has state of art Library Management System (Koha) and databases such as Ebscohost, IEEE Explore, CMIE Prowess etc.

 

Learning Resource Centre (LRC) is looking for motivated, hardworking and talented young professionals in library science for following positions.

 

Library Trainee

Trainee will be taken on 1 year contractual position, however extension will be granted for another year subject to performance.

 

Essential Qualifications:

    Post Graduate in Library & Information Science from reputed University with first class.

 

Additional Qualifications:

    Good communication skills in English and Hindi (written and oral)
    Sound knowledge of basic IT skills such as Microsoft Office, web browsing etc.
    Good Knowledge of Library Management Software, E-Resources
    Strong interpersonal skills.

 

LRC follows extended working hours mainly from 9:00 hours to 23:00 hours in shifts. Therefore selected candidate should be ready to work on shift-duties/ rotating weekly-off.

 

Only short listed candidates will be called for the interview.
