Pl. find the Call For Papers and Call For Registration in the
International Symposium in honour of Dr Ravi Ravindran

at knowledge sharing on the applications of OR in multiple criteria
decision-making, analytics, healthcare delivery systems, supply chain
engineering and project management.

The event is jointly organised by ORSI, IIMM, IIITB, CSI  and RIMSR.

The important dates: Submission of extended abstract [maximum of 1000
words excluding title/cover page and references] - 31/01/2015;
Acceptance-communication - 07/02/2015; and Final paper Submission -
25/02/2015.

Operational Research Society of India, Bangalore Chapter (ORSI-BC),
the Indian Institute of Materials Management Bangalore Branch (IIMM),
Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Bangalore, Computer
Society of India (CSI) and Rangnekar Institute of Management Studies
and Research (RIMSR, Bangalore)  are jointly sponsoring  an
"International symposium in honour of Dr Ravi Ravindran" during 12-13
March 2015, at Sathish Dhawan Auditorium, Indian Institute of Science,
Bangalore, India.

Dr. Ravi Ravindran is a recognised teacher, researcher, leader of the
Enterprise Integration Consortium at Penn State Univerisity. He has
guided 28 students through their Ph.D. programs and numerous others
for Masters Studies. His textbooks are widely used in many
Universities in USA and in India.

The aim of the symposium is to create a platform to facilitate
knowledge sharing on the applications of OR in multiple criteria
decision-making, analytics, healthcare delivery systems, supply chain
engineering and project management.  Distinguished academicians,
practitioners and researchers from around the world have been invited
to participate.

About 10 invited talks by leading academician and practitioners known
for thought leadership (from (India  and abroad)  are planned (please
refer the symposium website www.ravisymposium.org for more details on
this)

We invite research papers from academicians and practitioners on OR
and Supply Chain engineering (For a list of conference topics, please
refer the attached conference poster or the conference
website:http://www.ravisymposium.org). Applications, Case studies,
review and discussion papers on these topics and related areas are
most welcome.

A few students pursing PhD in the area of OR and its applications are
allowed to participate without registration fee on a first-cum-first
registration basis. For this the interested student should submit the
registration form along with an appropriate certificate for claiming
his/her PhD studentship working in the area of OR and its
applications.

On behalf of the organisers of this international event, we request
you to participate by contributing a research paper. Also request you
to disseminate the conference-announcement to your
professional-friends and peers and encourage them to participate by
contributing a research paper.
