The Department of Information Management, University of the Punjab, Lahore
[Pakistan] is celebrating its centenary anniversary this year. PU became
the first in Asia to establish a seat of formal learning in library
education by appointing an American Librarian, Asa Don Dickenson, to teach
a Certificate Course in Librarianship in 1915. Since its inception the
nomenclature has also been evolved as “Librarianship”, “Library Science”,
“Library and Information Science”, and most recent “Information Management”
to display the dynamic nature of the discipline. The Department has planned
an International Conference on Information Management and Libraries (ICIML
2015) to celebrate the centenary anniversary. Conference website is

*Submissions:*
The key focus of the ICIML2015 is on Education and Research Trends in
Management of Information, Knowledge, Libraries and similar organizations.
We aim to look into the past, analyze the present and foresee the future.
You are very cordially invited to disseminate your research and experience
in any of the following tracks:
1. Juried Full Paper (5000-7000)
2. Research in-progress (short paper 2000-3000)
3. Best practices and Lessons Learned: Oral presentations
Authors will have the opportunity to publish their papers in conference
proceedings, Library Management (Emerald) and Pakistan Journal of
Information Management and Libraries.
