We have immense pleasure to inform you that the Department of library
and information Science, university of Kerala is organizing a two day
‘National Seminar on Librametrics to Altmetrics’ (NSLA 2016) from
26-27 February 2016.

Main theme of the seminar is the Evolution of Librametrics,
Bibliometrics, Informetrics, Scientometrics,Webometrics ,Altmetrics

Sub themes
1) Bibliometric laws
2) Bibliometric models
3) Growth Studies,
4)  Collaborative Studies
5) Obsolescence Studies
6)  National Science Policy Indicators
7)  Mapping of science
8)  Citation Analysis
9)  Ranking of Individuals, institutions, country etc.
10)  Indicators for Science Evaluation
11) Recent Trends a techniques in research evaluation
12) Use of visualization Tools
13) Case studies using alternative methods

Dates of Seminar: 26 & 27 February 2016

Fee for registration: Rs. 1000
Research Scholars: Rs. 500

Venue: Dept of Library and Information Science, University of Kerala,
Thiruvananthapuram.

Abstract submission deadline: 30th January 2016

Full Paper Submission deadline: 5th February 2016

Call for Papers: Contributors can send their research papers
(including case studies and historical evolution of the concept of the
main theme) on any of the sub themes or the related areas. Papers
should be sent to mail id :dliskerala2 at gmail.com or
dragopikuttan at gmail.com on or before the specified dates above.
