Dear Professionals,

It gives me immense pleasure to inform you that BPCL, NIT Rourkela is
organizing 3 days National Workshop on Library Automation with Koha during
October 15-17, 2015.

Objectives of the Workshop:

This workshop is intended to equip participants with technical skills for
automating their own libraries with the following objectives:

To create awareness among library professionals about open source
technology & its application in library,

To enable the library professionals in order to automate their library
independently without any technical support,

To equip library professionals to deal with the technological challenges
such as to handle independent, multi-branch libraries, installation,
administration and other activities.

And, to strengthen the society & professionals.

Target Audience:

The workshop is intended for Library & Information Science Professionals,
Researchers and LIS Students. Registration is limited to 30 participants
only on first-come-first serve basis.

Important Date:

Workshop dates : October 15 - 17, 2015

Last Date of Registration : September 30, 2015

Participation Fee : Rs. 1500/-
