About the Journal:
The SRELS Journal of Information Management was founded by Dr. S.R.
Ranganathan in the year 1964. The papers published in the journal especially
in its early volumes focused on themes related to knowledge representation
and organization. Some of the pioneering contributions are mentioned here.
The first paper by Dr.S.R. Ranganathan in the first issue of the journal
(1964) is a path-breaking contribution to the domain of knowledge analytics
and knowledge organization.
