Call for Paper on Following Theme:

Ancient manuscripts, a treasure that behold the glorious past of
Indian culture are of great research value. But this unique invaluable
pool of knowledge is under threat as these manuscripts are
disappearing at an alarming rate. As libraries play a vital role in
preservation and management of these manuscripts, they need to be
revamped completely under latest technological facilities. Though
libraries have witnessed drastic changes in past couple of decades,
LIS professionals need to open up more broadly to innovative concepts
for maximum utilization of its resources and services in digital
environment.

This conference is an attempt to bring forth all the concerns,
innovative ideas and strategies of LIS professionals and managers that
aim to make Indian libraries the most promising place. Rediscover the
Indian in you in relation with being a part of library that preserves
rich heritage of Indian culture. Give feathers to innovative ideas and
redefine the "Role of Libraries in Indian Culture and Management" in
this digital era. This major theme is further divided into sub-themes
as detailed below:

How to Submit Paper

Original papers on the above sub-themes or related themes are invited
from students, researchers, academicians, LIS professional, managers
and interested IT professionals. You are requested to submit an
electronic copy of the full length paper in English to the Conference
Secretary Dr. P.S. Rajput at rlicm2014 at gmail.com on or before March

Guidelines for Manuscript Preparation

The papers should be based on research surveys, case studies or action
plans between 3000-3500 words in length including tables, diagrams,
etc. Text should be printed in Times New Roman with font size 12,
typed in 1.5 spaces. Text should be typed in A4 paper with standard
margins (2.54 cm in all four sides).

Also, each paper should contain an abstract, up to ten keywords, body
of the paper, conclusion and references. The paper should also contain
the author(s) name, title, organization, address, telephone, and
E-mail address. All references should be presented according to the
APA Style only.

All papers submitted shall be subjected to blind review by a technical
committee. Based on paper evaluation report, paper shall be accepted
for publication/presentation and best written and Best presented Paper
Award respectively in below categories each.
