Dear professionals


I am happy to share special information to you that first in the history of
Library and Information Science in India, Department of Library and
Information Science, Annamalai University has awarded 100 Ph.D degrees to
Library Science professionals from all over India.  In this context, the
department is planning to honour all these Ph.D recipients during the
organization of two days UGC sponsored national level seminar on
"Application of Quantitative and Qualitative Indicators for Effective
Information Management in Academic Libraries" to be held at Annamalai
University on 28th & 29th March 2014.  In this connection, I request all
the Library Science Alumnus of Annamalai University to send their
professional biodata to me at the earliest.  I am herewith enclosing the
Seminar brochure for your reference and participation.  Let us join this
