[LIS-Forum] An exploratory study on LIS-forum

Dear Professionals,

 

We are all using and following LIS-Forum platform since years. Though there
are many 'Listservs' floating in India this is one of most successful
mailing list (evolved in 1994) I have observed and also 'am an avid follower
of the same.  

 

How it's being used by the members in last few years is well depicted with
analysis in a paper appeared in "DESIDOC Journal of Library and Information
Technology" 2014 issue. 

An exploratory study shows insights of the discussion list and type of
postings made by members on the platform.  The paper is available

May be it is an interesting one for all members of LIS-Forum to know the
kind of discussions taken place in past few years.
