Shocked to know about the demise of Dr MA Gopinath.

It is a great loss to the LIS community.

I had the opportunity of having fruitful professional interactions in
the area of Information Science and working together in many LIS
activities including at RCIS.

I pray HIS ALMIGHTY for his soul to rest in peace and give strength to
his family to overcome this irrecoverable loss

Dear All,
I am deeply grieved to inform that Prof M.A. Gopinath is no
more. About half an hour ago he had a massive heart attack and passed
away. He was an eminent scholar in the field of Library Science.
May his soul rest in peace.
