[LIS-Forum] Honorary Doctorate to Prof. K. S. Deshpande

I am delighted to hear that Prof. K S Deshpande is to be honoured with the
Hon. Doctorate of the Karnataka University. The award is well deserved for
he has had a distinguished career.
I recall his association with the SHPT School of Library Science, SNDT
Women's University. He stood out as a man of knowledge, with a fine sense
of humour,

but he did not hesitate

to call a spade a spade,

regardless of who it was!!!
