I am writing to you to request a communication with your organization with regard to the IMF’s offer of FREE subscription access to the IMF e-library in developing countries.

 

Currently,  IMF policy allows FREE access for all academic, non-profit, and government institutions in developing countries to our publications and databases, in order to provide more support for research.  Here is the information.

Free Subscriptions to the IMF eLibrary 

The IMF eLibrary delivers comprehensive online access to IMF information. The eLibrary contains over 12,000 publications that provide authoritative perspectives on topics ranging from macroeconomics and globalization to technical assistance and poverty reduction. The data eLibrary contains over 9,500 financial and economic data concepts containing more than one million statistical data. 

 

Academic, non-profit, and governmental institutions in developing countries can subscribe, free-of-charge, to statistical databases and publications through the IMF eLibrary. The full list of eligible countries can be viewed at the IMF eLibrary subscription policy page. To obtain a free subscription license for your institution, please complete and sign this Online Services Agreement and send it to Ping Wang via e-mail or fax, +1-202-589-8752. The license agreement is also available in French and Spanish. 

 

 

I hope this information is valuable and would appreciate if you could help communicate this information to the relevant universities/ think tanks/ research institutes / ministries(etc) in your country. Thank you very much.
