I am happy to inform you that the Central Library, National Institute of Technology Silchar is going to organize a workshop on “E-books: Issues & Challenges” on 15th March, 2012. The main purpose of this workshop is to identify the issues and complexities involved in e-books and its future stand on academic and research in the field of engineering & technology.
 
The objectives of this workshop are the following:
·         To find out the importance and advantages of e-books.
·         To find out the technological issues & challenges of e-books
·         To indentify the resources of for procurement
 
Experts from e-book Publishing Industry & Faculty from NIT Silchar / Assam University will deliver lectures in this workshop.
