About
the Seminar 
In the changing global scenario, the
issues of IPR have gained special importance for all R&D sector. IPR protection
plays a key role in gaining competitive advantage in terms of technological
gains for achieving higher economic growth in a market driven economy. It is
felt that IPR requires greater understanding and attention by the industry and
even sensitize
the researchers, academicians and others to identify and protect IP of R&D
before publication.  The Seminar will
provide better understanding towards IP to the participants who have patents,
engaged in downstream /translation/ sponsored research and consultancy,
collaborated with the industry, transferred or received the biological material
to industry etc.
