As you may be aware, the National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NME-ICT) has been working on a national
plan of making knowledge available to everyone through e-Learning on the internet. NMEICT is working with BSNL to provide high-speed internet connectivity to every college in
India on a national network. We believe your college should have
received such a connection recently.
As part of the NME-ICT projects, Amrita E-learning Research Lab have
developed versatile E-Learning software AVIEW (Amrita Virtual
Interactive E-Learning World). This A-VIEW
software is provided to you free of cost. Please see the attached Circular send
by Mr N.K.Sinha, Additional Secretary, MHRD and Mission Director of
NME-ICT to use A-VIEW software.
We recommend that you follow the registration, download and installation
instructions provided in the document "User reg Process & client
side installation for AVC 2.0". For facilitating the use of A-VIEW at
your institution, please provide the contact details of an
appropriate IT person at your college to whom A-VIEW Support Team can communicate for future correspondence.
