About Lecture: Conferences are the most widely used platform to meet fellow professionals, develop network, exchange views and share knowledge. However, unconferences gained attention recently as an important platform for meeting people and sharing knowledge on common interests. The content and structure of the unconferences are decided by the participants. Unconferences work on the principle that the collective knowledge of the participants is more valuable than the traditional conference speaker. “LibCampBangalore” was the first ever unconference for corporate library and information science professionals in India. The first “LibCampBangalore” was organized by Information Resource Centre (IRC) of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Bangalore on March 7, 2009. So far, three “LibCampBangalore” unconferences have been successfully organized.  Nandeesha will share his experience in architecting LibCampBangalore and this unconference becoming an
effective platform for building professional network and knowledge sharing.
