Abstract:
"Victory is not the property of brilliant. It is the crown for those who pursue hard work with confidence and have total devotion to their goal". The profession of a librarian is one such example, where the hard work and will power works. Self confidence is one of the major qualities of a librarian. It is a very challenging job. In other jobs you have a destiny to reach, you have a target to reach, but in librarians' every day is a challenge and every user is unique. That makes the profession a more complex one and challenging as well.
"School Library: A living space for students" Which includes the topics like Activity based Library Hour in the school, Celebration of National Library Week to make the children understand the importance of using resources in the library, and how good to maintain a class room library in schools. There are two library systems in a school, i.e., a main Library consists of Planning and organizing, Resources of library, Library hour/activity during library hour and Services given to the users. A class-room library consists of Planning and organizing, Resources for library, and Usage of Class-room Library.
The resources of a school library are not restricted to books and e-books, but more materials and equipments which would help the children to do activities. In total a school library should be a resource centre than a store house of books. Every librarian should do their best to make the library a lively and lovely place for its users.

"A librarian should put efforts in making the library a living place by giving a services which are timely, spontaneous, then one day the presence, impact and importance of the librarian will be felt at the later stages"
