[LIS-Forum] Exemption from NET

Dear Professionals

I wish to know the followings:

1.Whether PHD and M Phil holder of Library Science is exempted from NET or Not if exempted any GO regarding this.
2.Many professionals are saying that MHRD rejected the plea of UGC to exempt the Ph D or M Phil holder of Library Science from NET. Any document or order of MHRD regarding this.

3. Whether PHd or Mhill from Distance mode is exempted or not.Any notification regarding this.
