Dear Colleagues,

I request you to kindly bring the following announcement to the notice of
interested candidates and also request you to recommend potential
candidates.

*Subject: Opening of Library Assistants positions (on purely temporary /
contractual basis) at Central Library, Indian Institute of Technology
Rajasthan, Jodhpur (Rajasthan)*

   - *Indian Institute of Technology Rajasthan* is looking for young,
   dynamic graduates with minimum *First Class in Masters in Library and
   Information Science* to work as '*Library Assistants*' for its Central
   Library.


   - Candidates should also have good working knowledge of computer
   applications like MS Office, Internet and emails; and should also possess
   working knowledge and experience of library management software.


   - The Central Library operates from morning 9.00 am to 6.00 pm on all
   working days of the institute. An extension of Central Library functions at
   the residential campus from 7.00 pm to 11.00 pm.  Selected candidates will
   be required to work during these extended hours on rotation basis at
   residential campus also.


   - Interested candidates who meet the above mentioned basic requirements
   may send in their application with CV and copies of certificates at the
   address mentioned below by post or by *email* by *10th of August, 2010*.


   - Candidates are requested to bring with them the original certificates
   in support of date of birth and qualifications, and experience.


   - Shortlisted candidates will be intimated about the date of interview
   and venue by email and over telephone.
