Dear Friends,

Wikipedia's New Editorial Line of Defense

The managers of Wikipedia have reportedly decided to begin controlling
exactly what may be written on the pages of the online encyclopedia, at
least as far as entries about still-living persons are concerned. The move
is a step back from the site's everyone's-an-editor stance, but it might
also say something about Wikipedia's role as a widely viewed repository of
information.
