[LIS-Forum] Where to donate?

Dear Friends

A friend of mine in Delhi has a collection of about 100 rare books
manuscripts & palm leaves, mostly in Tamil left by his father.
He wants to donate them to some institution that may preserve it for future
use. Digitisation is one of the options also.

Do you know of libraries where he can try? Any leads will be appreciated. My
own efforts have not yielded any results.
