*Conference Themes*
Advances in computing and networking, high-end computers, large data stores,
and middleware capabilities are ushering in a new era of high-performance
parallel and distributed computing. Along with these new capabilities come
new challenges. The goal of the 2009 High Performance Computing &
Applications (HPCA 2009) is to encourage innovation in high performance
computing and communication technologies and to stimulate the use of these
technologies in key areas of computer application. It will promote the
exchange of ideas and information among universities, industries, and
national laboratories about new developments in high performance computing
and communication, that address current scientific and technical challenges
within the application community. Broad areas of interest include, but not
limited to:

      1. High Performance Applications

2. Discrete Mathematics and its Applications

3. High Performance Software Tools

4. Distributed and Grid Computing

5. Visualization and Data Management

6. Problem Solving Environments

7. Sequential and Parallel Algorithms and Architectures

8. High Performance Discrete Event Simulation

9. Artificial Intelligence

10. Software Engineering

11. Neuro Computing

12. Bio Informatics/Bio Computing

13. Theory of Computation & Soft Computing
