ENVIRONMENTAL ETHICS:
EXPLORING MULTIPLE PERSPECTIVES

Date 12-13th Sept 2007
OBJECTIVES OF THE CONFERENCE

1.	To explore the multiple perspectives related to environmental ethics
2.	To study the extent of corporate responsibility towards environmental management and sustainable development.
3.	To delineate methods of utilizing cultural heritage as a tool for sustainable Development
4.	To examine the role of media in the conservation of the environment.
5.	To identify classroom strategies for encouraging ecological citizenship.
6.	To formulate an action plan for diverse groups to fulfill their responsibilities towards the environment.


Papers are invited on the following Sub-themes

1.Corporate Social Responsibility
2. Cultural Heritage as a Tool for Sustainable Development
3. Media as a Vehicle in Promoting Environmental Ethics
4. Learning Strategies for Ecological Citizenship

PARTICIPATION
Registration Fees (For both the days)
Faculty representative: Rs. 500/-
Student representative: Rs. 300/-
Registration fees may be sent by D.D. in favor of Bombay Teachers’ Training College, payable at Bank of Maharashtra, Cuffe Parade, Mumbai, on or before 5th September 2007.

Accommodation facility on request, can be arranged by the college , on payment basis.

FORMAT FOR PAPERS

Participants can write a paper on any of the sub-themes. Following guidelines need to be adhered before submission:

 	The length of the paper should be maximum 6 pages of A4 size.
 	Margins: 1” Top, 1” Bottom, 1.25” Left and 1” Right.
 	Font: Times New Roman [English Language] and Font size 12.
 	Line spacing 1.5
 	Title of the paper: Bold Style and Central alignment with font size 14
 	Authors name: Right alignment below the title of the paper in Italic style.
 	References should be given in the APA Style.
