  Greetings from Anand Dodamani.
   
  RFID Technology is gaining momentum now. It is like a Barcode but is read with an electro magnetic field rather than by a laser beam. So the similarity ends there. With the significant advancements in just a few years, it has shown all the signs of becoming the successor technology to barcodes. Because of this possibility, we cannot afford to ignore this new technology, even if we do not embrace it today.  
   
  The questions raised by Ms. Parinita Samant are worth to be discussed. The ignorant LIS professional like me will be benefited if the people more immersed in Library RFID involve in the discussion.
