Accession register is one of the impotant document for the library record, especially in the medical libraries AR is the one of the most  impotant source for MCI ( Medical council of India) insepection.if you are using the library software, you can easily generate the accession entries, and where ever i know all most all the library softwares have this facility.eg a) SLIM ( System for library and Information Management) b) Libsys etc.
