New library offers more than just books:

On Aug. 27, the new San Mateo Public Library will open its 
doors to an anticipated 3,000 daily visitors - hopefully without a hitch.

"Our main goal was to increase services," said the librarian. 
"We'll have bigger collections and services for all members of society. 
It will be the same as the old library, only more so."
