  IIT Roorkee invites the applications from suitable candidates for the under­mentioned posts in its Central Library.
  TECHNICAL ASSISTANT (LIBRARY) - Seven posts (Reserved one for SC, two for ST, three for OBC and one is unreserved) Pay scale of Rs. 5000-8000;
  Qualification:- Bachelor's degree plus Degree in Library Science with minimum two years experience.
  Age Limit:-Age not more than 35 years for General, 38 years for OBC and 40 years for SC/ST category candidates on last date of receipt of applications. For
  Physically handicapped/Ex-servicemen candidates the relaxation will be given as per Govt. of India rules.
  The application form may be obtained from Supdt., Estt(B) Section, IIT Roorkee by 16.12.2005 by sending a request with a self addressed and self stamped envelop of 25x11 cm.
