Dear Professionals,

There have been frequent debates and musings on repositioning the LIS
Profession in tune with the digital paradigms & emerging knowledge
economy.InfoVision 2005, an Industry-Academia Summit is going to be the converging
point for all stakeholders of the Information World.   This summit is an
excellent opportunity for LIS Professionals to listen to, mingle with, and
discover the different terrains of the information landscape from the  LIS
and the non-LIS stream -- CIOs and KM specialists in corporate world,
Speakers form Google & Yahoo, Publishers and Content Management Companies,
etc.
To encourage the teachers in LIS and librarians in academic institutions
(Universities & colleges), the organizing committee of infovision2005 is
pleasedto announce a special discounted registration fee for all  LIS
professionals from the academic institutions registering between 10th
august and 10thSeptember, the confessional fee is Rs. 5000 only.
