Birla Institute of Technology (Ranchi) - (i) a two-year M.Sc (Information
Science) Open to graduates in any discipline or for candidates possessing
MBBS/BT/BE/B. Pharm degrees. (ii) PhD (Information Science)

Guru Ghasidas University (Bilaspur, M.P., 495009) - Master of Library
Automation and Networking, of one-year duration

Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (Vidya Vihar, Rae Bareli Road,
Lucknow-226025) - M.Sc (Information Science) of two-year duration.
Graduates of all faculties including Engineering and Medicine are
eligible for admission.

Hyderabad University (Central University Post Office, Hyderabad-500046) -
offers a distance learning programme, Postgraduate Diploma in Library
Automation and Networking (PGDLAN) of one-year duration, open to
candidates possessing Science and Computer Science.

Bundelkhand University (Jhansi-284128, UP) - Master's Degree in Library
Automation (MLA) of one year duration. Candidates possessing a degree in
any discipline are eligible.

Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar University (formerly Agra University) - (i) PG
Diploma in Library Automation. The eligibility requirement is B.LISc
degree with 50 per cent marks, (ii) Master of Information Technology
Management (MITM) of two year duration. Admission in engineering or
medicine or BLISc. The course contents are (a) Information Technology,
(b) Communication, (c) Library and Information Science. In addition,
there is an optional subject to be chosen from (i) Management Information
System, (ii) Public Relations and Advertising, (iii) Technical Writing,

Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University (Allahabad) - Diploma in
