Conference on "Leveraging Innovations & Inventions: Enhancing Competitiveness"
Organized by: National Research Development Corporation, New Delhi, India
Dates: 13-14 October 2008

The conference on "Leveraging Innovations & Inventions: Enhancing Competitiveness" will provide a platform to entrepreneurs, research scientists, angel investors and evangelists to exchange ideas, and explore emerging directions both in innovation and R&D Management. It also aims at highlighting new emerging technologies.

This conference will bring Innovators and Inventors to a common platform to inspire business strategies, technology management, and new product development.

Objectives
* Acquisition, exploitation and stimulation of new technology innovations and its development; 
* Networking with research institutions and entrepreneurs in the field of inventions and technology transfer by bringing them together; 
* Understanding the level of Public Private Partnership (PPP) and research collaboration between Industry, Academia and Government; 
* Managing collaborative R&D through PPP for capacity building in Design & Engineering; 
* Publicize awarded inventions;  
* Dissemination of innovative work;

Invitation for Papers
Research based papers on the conference theme are welcome. Papers will be selected for publication in the conference souvenir after review of the same. Participants are advised to submit their papers in the prescribed format as stated under "Guidelines for papers" (available at www.innovate-india.in) .

Invitation for Poster Presentation
The poster sessions will provide excellent opportunity for presentation of R&D findings and would lead to a lively deliberation of scientific audience. Poster presented on the conference theme is welcome.  
Posters will be selected for display after review.
