from the American Productivity and Quality Centre, USA and Business
Intelligence, UK, he is the author of the books - Corporate Longitude and

2. Rory L. Chase - Founder of Teleos – the company that conducts the
internationally recognized Most Admired Knowledge Enterprise (MAKE)
program. Advisor, author and researcher in the development and
implementation of knowledge management strategies and approaches, he is
the Founding Editor of the Journal of Knowledge Management and the Journal
of Intellectual Capital. Chase has also authored the 'Creating a Knowledge
Management Business Strategy'

3. Jimmy Wales – named one of the Time magazine's 100 most influential
people in the world in the year 2006, Wales has translated the utopian
concept of universal access to knowledge a reality through his Wikipedia
the largest freely available online encyclopedia . Wikipedia is also
available in more than 100 languages. Wales is the fellow of the Berkman
Center for Internet and Society at the Harvard Law School and member of
the Board of Directors of Socialtext, a provider of wiki technology to

4. Sam Pitroda -- chairman of India's National Knowledge Commission, he
is also largely considered to have been responsible for India's
communications revolution. He is the Chairman and CEO of World-Tel
Limited, an International Telecommunication Union (ITU) initiative. He
holds many key technology patents, has been involved in several startups,
and lectures extensively around the world on the implications of
communications and information technology. He is also the founder and CEO
of C-SAM, Inc, Inc, and serves as a director on the board of Jet Airways.
He has served as an advisor to the United Nations and in 1992, his
biography was published, and became a bestseller.

2006 Indian MAKE Award Ceremony and panel discussion

For the first time in India, an Indian MAKE ceremony will be conducted
to recognize those Indian organizations that stand out in building their
knowledge and intellectual capital. There will be an interactive panel
discussion with the award winners during a gala dinner event. This will
cover best practices, do's and don'ts on KM from the very best in India.
